Top View

Wrist lines show wrist width approximation. Watch outline shows diameter (width) and lug-to-lug (height).

Wrist width: 59.5 mm (approx)
Watch diameter: mm
Watch lug-to-lug: mm

Side View

Wrist lines show estimated wrist thickness. Watch height is drawn above the wrist.

Wrist thickness (est..): 47.6 mm
Watch height: mm

Legend

Grey lines: Estimated wrist width boundaries based on your wrist circumference.
Red line: Estimated acceptable lug-to-lug for your wrist size. Larger watches will appear too big.
For best results, compare to a watch you already own.

Understanding Watch Dimensions

Diameter (mm)

Watch diameter (case size) is the width of the watch case measured across the dial, excluding the crown. This is the most commonly referenced size and determines how large the watch appears on your wrist.

Lug-to-lug (mm)

Lug-to-lug (L2L) is the distance from the tip of one lug to the tip of the opposite lug. This measurement is crucial as it determines how well the watch fits your wrist width. A watch with a lug-to-lug larger than your wrist width will overhang and look oversized.

Height (mm)

Watch height (thickness) is the vertical measurement from the case back to the top of the crystal. Thicker watches may feel more substantial but can be less comfortable, especially if they catch on clothing or feel heavy.

How to Measure Your Wrist

1. Use a flexible measuring tape or a piece of string and a ruler.

2. Wrap the tape around your wrist just below the wrist bone, where you would normally wear a watch.

3. Make sure the tape is snug but not tight. Read the measurement in millimeters (mm) or convert from inches (1 inch = 25.4 mm).

Recommended Watch Sizes

Small wrists (140-160mm): Diameter 36-40mm, Lug-to-lug under 48mm

Medium wrists (160-180mm): Diameter 40-44mm, Lug-to-lug 48-52mm

Large wrists (180mm+): Diameter 42-46mm+, Lug-to-lug 50mm+

These are general guidelines. Personal preference, watch style, and lug design can significantly affect how a watch wears. Always try to see watches in person or compare to watches you already own.
